Skyrim materials for building a house. Guide to creating a house in Skyrim. What the player will need to build

With the advent of the Heartfire add-on, you can now get your own house in Skyrim, which can be built through the Bethesda interface.

This program is available for the network game The Elder Scrolls and consoles Xbox Live and Playstation.

In order to build your house in Skyrim, you need to follow the step-by-step instructions

To buy land, you need to talk to the managers in Morthal, Falkreath and Dawnstar and allocate 5000 gold. Immediately before buying a house, you need to complete the proposed quests, after which you will be able to purchase land in different cities.

To get to your construction site, you need to be guided by the quest arrow. Arriving at the indicated place, you will be presented with a drafting table with a carpentry workbench and a chest with building materials.

Before starting construction, you should read the "Instructions" located on the carpentry workbench.

When building a house, the player's own resources are not required. All the necessary materials are provided in the chest and there is enough wood and iron. Initially, for the construction, it is worth choosing the "Little House" in order to make all the necessary parts directly on the carpentry workbench. After building the house, the interior decoration of the room can also be done using the carpentry workbench, which you will find in the finished building.

To add new buildings to the house, you must use the "Main Hall" function located on the drafting table. Remember, you will need more materials to expand the structure.

To continue building, you should purchase lumber at the sawmills in Falkreath, Skyrim and Agna, located in the western part of Windhelm. You can also visit the Sopityud sawmill in Haafingar. In the immediate vicinity of your site, you can get clay or stones, for which you need a pickaxe.

After finishing the main hall, you can start building separate wings of the house. The south wing is suitable for an alchemist's laboratory or trophy, the east - for a dining room or a library. The west wing can be given to house the sorcerer's tower.

To add new buildings to the house, you must use the "Main Hall" function

Tired of endless battles, Dovakin can make a good nest for himself by buying houses in Skyrim. This will require a tidy sum of gold, as well as the unconditional trust of the Jarl and the townspeople.

Some rulers give a simple task to clean up a gangster location, and for the approval of others, you will have to work hard and go through a full-fledged quest. As for the townspeople, in most cases you can get away with harvesting and selling crops to provincial farmers, or simply delivering an item from one character to another.

When selling a house, the ruler of the jarl can forgive Dovakin for a slight shortage of gold.

The situation in the house

The newly purchased dwelling will be in a deplorable state: a minimum of poor furniture, dust and cobwebs on the walls. The jarl manager will tell you how to equip a house in Skyrim when selling a building. A furnishing manual will appear in your inventory, which explains in detail how you can use the rooms in the house.

In addition to the standard bedroom, living room and kitchen, you can selectively equip a nursery, an alchemist's or an enchanter's laboratory. In addition, multiple containers for storing Dovakin's trophies will appear in the house, and in general the atmosphere will become more pleasant and richer.

Houses available for sale:

1. House of warm winds. The second building to the right of the city gates of Whiterun. This is the most inexpensive and comfortable house in the game. The kitchen-living room and the children's room are on the first floor, the bedroom and the housecarl's room are on the second.

Enchanting will not work here, but if Dovakin does not plan to have children, you can equip an alchemical laboratory.

In addition, the fully stocked forge of Adrianna Avenicci is located in the immediate neighborhood, and on the other hand, a market with many merchants.

2. Honey cake. Cottage with a furnished basement in Riften. This dwelling is much more spacious than the Skyrim house in Whiterun.

You can enter Medovik both from the city and from Skyrim, which Dovakin the vampire can use.

There is a private small pier, as well as a front garden, for which you will have to pay separately. A forge (without a smelter), a market and other shops are nearby.

It is possible to install the laboratories of the alchemist and the enchanter, but if you have children, you will have to abandon this idea. The main disadvantage of Medovik is that there are few storage spaces.

If Dovakin is a member of the Thieves Guild, then a cache with updated contents will appear in the front garden.

3. Hjerim in Windhelm. Very spacious house with a pleasant environment, fully equipped. You can do enchantment and alchemy.

The nursery is poorly located (in a cramped secret room). The jarl will allow you to buy a house after investigating the Blood on the Snow quest. This mission and the related purchase of Hjerim is one of the most buggy in the game.

4. Vlindrel Hall. Spacious dwelling in Markarth, carved right into the rock. Building a house in Skyrim
the Dwemer were still engaged, however, this applies to all the capital buildings of the city.

There are a lot of bookshelves in the house. Apart from self-built estates with full-fledged libraries, these are - the best place to store books.

5. High spire. The capital residence of Dovahkiin, the building was built next to the College of Bards in Solitude. The most expensive house in the game, an ostentatious and rich stone mansion on three levels.

A special feature is the presence of a safe.

The nursery does not require abandonment of the alchemy or enchantment laboratories, but appears in a new room. The house is not very comfortable for living due to the remoteness from shops and numerous stairs inside the building.

Civil War and home buying

You can get a quick permit to buy a house when the government changes in the city. To do this, you need to go through quests related to the civil war, and when capturing the next settlement, talk to new jarls. The price in this case is not discussed.

If the player is not satisfied with any of the buildings offered for sale in Skyrim, building their own house will be a good alternative. Estates outside the cities are spacious, and you can create them yourself, saving more than one thousand septims.

Skyrim is perhaps one of the best RPG games in the history of the gaming industry. Stunning gameplay, atmospheric environment and a unique world completely absorb a gamer of any age, forcing him to complete quest after quest, discover new locations, meet mysterious characters and get his share from conquering campaigns. All this and much more can be done in the course of the game, the length of which is amazing in the literal sense. So that interest in the project is not lost under the merciless pressure of time, the developers decided to periodically release various modifications designed to improve the gameplay and make it more diverse and wider. The Hearthfire add-on is one such "candy" that brings a tasty portion of innovations to the gameplay that expands the possibilities of interactive interaction.

personal possessions

It will not be superfluous to say that you can purchase several plots at once, thus creating a whole system of personal real estate. To complete the transaction, you need to talk to the manager of the corresponding city, not forgetting to pay him 5000 gold coins. It is also worth knowing that building a house in Skyrim becomes available after the main character completes certain tasks in the corresponding city.

Rolling up our sleeves

Well, now you can begin the construction process itself. Having reached the indicated point (displayed on the global map), where you have planned the construction of a new dwelling, you can find all the necessary equipment: a workbench, a drafting table and materials. There is always something to choose from here. Gardeners will be able to fully enjoy the most luxurious site, and lovers of fishing - an artificial reservoir.

fun campaign

In order not to be too empty and boring in a new home, you can fill its rooms with various servants: from guards to bards and coachmen. Naturally, each of them will painstakingly fulfill their duties. Why, you can even adopt children, filling the house with cheerful and joyful children's cries. Thus, the process of creating a house in Skyrim can be accompanied by the settlement of close friends and brothers in arms, who will vigilantly guard the property of their best friend.

Houses and estates in Skyrim

On the territory of Skyrim, you can not only rush around with weapons and cut out everything that moves on assignment or without. There is also a place to build a house. In general, the entire territory of Skyrim is conditionally divided into 9 parts, and each of them provides the player with the opportunity to build a house or estate. The right to build real estate will need to be earned by completing a series of simple tasks for jarls and city dwellers. Houses and estates serve as a place for recreation, family living (without a house you can’t have children), replenishment of supplies, manufacturing and safe storage of things (we can’t keep our belongings in barrels all our lives). Houses are usually bought from a jarl's assistant who tells them how to get to a new place of residence. He also helps to purchase furnishings for the house (an additional remark appears in the dialogue). Estates differ from houses in that all stages of planning, construction and furnishing are carried out through personal efforts, from laying the foundation to the creation of shelves and cabinets. You can change the set of rooms through the plan on the drafting table next to the house.

The construction of the estate can be facilitated if the housecarl is appointed as a caretaker, after talking with him, then it will be possible to transfer the rough work to him: the purchase of building materials, furniture and livestock, he will also help find a bard who will entertain the owner with songs. Additional housing appears after completing all the tasks of the College of Mages from Winterhold, the Dark Brotherhood and investigating a conspiracy against the ruler of Solstheim, Lleril Morvayn.
