How to design for banknotes. Transfer the face to the dollar using Photoshop. Getting started with Photoshop tutorial

Background layer:

Then grab the Ellipse Tool:

Set the mode to "Shape" (Shape), and set the fill to mode "No color":

And create an oval area covering the portrait:

Take the Pen Tool, set the same parameters (Shape mode, fill - No color) and create an area overlapping the text at the bottom of the portrait, as shown in the picture:

Our layers panel should look like this:

Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the thumbnail of the oval layer, while the path is transformed into a selection:

Hold down the Ctrl + Alt keys and click on the layer created by the "Pen", while the second path is not only transformed into a selection, but this new selection will also be subtracted from the first selection:

As a result, we got a selection like this:

Press the Ctrl + Shift + I combination to invert the selection and create a layer mask for the "Background copy" layer:

That's it, now we have a cutout area into which we will insert our own photo:

Now let's start preparing the photo.

For a photomontage I took a photo of my girlfriend:

By the way, to add solidity to the image, you can use the templates for women and men suits taken from here.

My image resolution is 72 pixels per inch, which is not enough, but there is a way out. Press Ctrl + Alt + I to open the "Image Size" dialog box, set the resolution to 300 pixels / inch, while the linear size of the photo in pixels increases.
Press Ctrl + Alt + I again and set the photo to a height of about 3/4 of the banknote's height, in my case I reduced the height to 450 pixels.

Then go Image -> Mode -> Grayscale (Image -> Mode -> Grayscale), then Image -> Mode -> Bitmap (Image -> Mode -> Bitmap), in the opened leave the resolution at 300 in the window and select "Halftone Screen":

Click OK, after which a new window opens, where we set the values:

Frequency - 100
Angle (Ancle) - 0
Raster point shape (Shape) - Line (Line)

Note. The parameter "Frequency" (Frequency) depending on the size and resolution of the photo can significantly differ from 100 lines per inch in one direction or another.

As a result, the photo looks like this:

Switch the image mode back to "Grayscale" (Image -> Mode -> Grayscale or Image -> Mode -> Grayscale).

Now take the Magic Wand Tool. Uncheck the "Contiguous" option and set the "Tolerance" value to 0 (zero). Select any black point on the image and click on it, as a result a selection will appear. Press Ctrl + C to copy it.

We return to the document with the banknote. In the layers panel, click on the layer with the mask, it will be highlighted in blue, then hold down the Ctrl key and double-click on the icon for creating a new layer. Two new layers will appear under the layer with the mask. Click on the layer directly below the mask, mine is "Layer 1":

Now press Ctrl + V to paste the copied pixels. Adjust the size of the photo using "Free Transform" by pressing Ctrl + T:

Now go to the layer below, mine is "Layer 2". Take the "Clone Stamp" tool, set the clone mode to "all layers", hold down Alt, click on the white area of the bill, adjust the stamp brush with a diameter of about 50 pixels with a hardness of 75% and paint over the area under the portrait. For convenience, the visibility of the portrait layer can be turned off:

Now it remains only to adjust the shade of the portrait to the color of the drawing of the bill. Go to the portrait layer, press Ctrl + U and set the following settings, they may be different for you:

Well, that's all, this is where the work is over. I got this portrait on a denyuzhka:

Today, almost every person strives to earn as much money as possible, and children already know almost from the cradle what it is. But here's how they appeared and how they are created, you will learn in this article. First, let's plunge into history.

The history of the emergence of funds

For many millennia, in order to get the desired goods, people simply exchanged them, that is, barter took place. Of course, there were cases when they were simply taken away or stolen, but this was severely punished. Therefore, exchange was the most convenient way to obtain the desired product, and it was practiced especially well in those cultures where subsistence farming flourished. For example, the Phoenicians exchanged cedar for Egyptian papyri, but it often happened that the interests of the parties did not coincide and the desired result was not obtained.

However, the inconvenience of direct exchange has led to the formation of universal intermediaries of exchange. They were livestock and grain crops.

Over time, this exchange product also becomes inconvenient, because it directly depends on the number of livestock and the harvest, and it is impossible to predict them in advance. Therefore, such commodity products go down in history, but it is worth noting that African tribes who lead a hermitic life until the twentieth are calmly engaged in commodity exchange.

First coins

Historians believe that the first coins appeared in 687 BC, in Lydia. Today it is the Asian part of Turkey. Then there was king Croesus who the first began to mint gold coins, although in fact coins were already produced by his great-grandfather, Gyges. Lydian coins were made from electrum. It is a type of native gold that contains a lot of silver. After half a century, coins began to be produced in large quantities.

Coins in Ancient China

Do not forget that at this time, regardless of European civilization, minting of coins was also invented in Ancient China. Their coins were created in a rather original way of casting. There was a square hole inside and it was located in the middle. This was done for convenience of storage, namely, they could be strung on a lace. Then this method was adopted by Japan, Korea and some other Asian countries.

In China, this coinage existed until the beginning of the 20th century.

Continuation…

Greece quickly took over the money making from Lydia. They began to depict the Greek gods on the coins. It is worth noting that Greek coinage has had a significant impact on modern money. After the conquests of Alexander the Great, they began to stamp the faces of living people on coins for the first time. When minting, they used two molds, which then spread to all subordinate territories.

Rome, and then Western Europe, also used this technology when minting. From her they began to make their money. Then they spread them to the subordinate tribes, however, after the fall of the great Rome, it disintegrates into the conquered territories. It is restored only after two centuries, and before that coins were worn only as decoration.

Paper money

China played an important role in the emergence of paper money. Everything turned out to be quite simple. Under the Tang Dynasty, the Chinese have a "flying" one, because transporting over long distances turned out to be quite laborious and the government is tired of it, so they decide to create special printed money certificates so that they can pay with merchants, and they could exchange them for "hard" currency in the capital.

In the west, paper money comes along with the Mongols, because they printed Chinese-style banknotes in 1291. It happened in Iran.

XX-XXI century

During this turbulent time, many changes took place. Money was no longer backed by gold or other precious metals.

Now they are already using electronic wallets with might and main and this does not surprise anyone. Also, with the development of new technologies, there are prerequisites for the emergence of a new type of money.

Money making

In the process of creating banknotes, the following technologies are used:

Offset printing. Here, special forms are used, where white space and printing elements are located on the same plane. In this technology, selective wetting of the printing elements with paint is used, but the blank elements are wetted with water. During printing, ink is transferred from the form to the rubber sheet, and then from there to the paper.

With the Oryol print, there is a smooth transition of colors. However, the border of the transition remains clear. There are no different distortions here. Such printing requires special equipment. It is impossible to repeat such a seal in classical ways.

Next comes letterpress. When making a form, it is necessary to place the printing elements above the blanks. This is done so that the paper is pressed against the printing plate and the ink must be squeezed out along the edges. At the same time, there is a characteristic "side" of paint and a slight deformation of the paper. In this way, images of numbers and series on banknotes are created.

Intaglio intaglio printing occurs complete opposite letterpress. After all, here the elements are deepened in the printed form. The ink adheres to the paper and then dries up to form a raised layer of ink. You can even feel it by touch. With this printing, the images are very clear. In this way, the smallest details on the bill are made.

When making dotted or solid stripes, they use a unique method. It is not easy to pierce it between the two sides of the paper, and "ram" into it. Therefore, it is impossible to get it.

To obtain a watermark, the machine casts a sheet with different thicknesses and due to this, gaps are formed, which are watermarks.

After the release of the paper blank, it is the turn to apply special marks on them, which are visible only when using special equipment.

On this, the path of making money ends and it remains only to cut a sheet with ready-made bills, which are then sent into circulation.

Getting started with Photoshop tutorial

I recently watched a movie watched " Wall Street: Money Doesn't Sleep"It was a wonderful film, despite the fact that I expected something more from the plot and special effects, but the credits showed a cool animation with money, I do not know what this effect is called in English, but I was hooked, and after returning home, I decided to repeat it in Photoshop.

And so, in this tutorial I will show you a wonderful technique for creating an illustration stylized as money, namely a dollar bill. Here I will share one of the easy ways I came up with.

Step 1.

Open the image on which we want to apply this effect ( File> Open(File> Open / Shortcut "Ctrl + O")).

Step 2.

Go to the menu Image> Adjustments> Desaturate(Image> Preferences> Desaturate / Shortcut "Shift + Ctrl + U").

Step 3.

In the same place we choose Image> Adjustments> Levels(Image> Adjustments> Levels / Shortcut keys "Ctrl + L"). Change in black input(black) on 50 , a white(white) on 150 , also, we change in gray input(Green) on 1 (it is the default).

Step 4.

Let's go to the menu Filter> Blur> Surface Blur(Filter> Blur> Surface Blur). We use 30 pixels - Radius(Radius) and 20 - Threshold(Threshold). We save in Psd file as Displace.psd... In this tutorial we will use 2a file, we will use one of them later.

Step 5.

Now we go back a few steps, to step number 2 ... Save as me.psd... Then we go to Image> Adjustments> Levels(Image> Adjustments> Levels / Shortcut keys "Ctrl + L"). Using values 15 for black input(black), 1 for gray(green) and 205 for white(White).

Step 6.

Again we go to Image> Mode> Grayscale(Image> Mode> Grayscale), then in Image> Mode> Bitmap(Image> Mode> Bit Format). Using the default settings, I have them - output(output) 240 pixels / inch as in input(input value) they are the same, the value can change depending on your input data. Also, this will concern the next step, in Method(Method) choose Halftone screen(Halftone Screen) ...

Step 7.

In the settings window Halftone screen(Halftone raster), specify Shape(The form) - Line(Line) and set Frequency(Frequency) 30 lines / inch. We also change Angle(Angle) on 0 °. Note: Depending on the resolution of your picture frequency can change, thus, you select the required value until you reach the desired result.

Step 8.

We get this result after we switch to the mode Bitmap mode (Image> Mode> Bitmap(Image> Mode> Bit Format)). Now let's change this to Grayscale(Grayscale). Go to Image> Mode> Grayscale(Image> Mode> Grayscale).

Step 9.

Go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur(Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur). We take 0.5 pixels for Radius(Radius). You can also specify 1 , we do our best. Let me remind you that all values are subject to change and depend on the resolution of the image used.

Step 10.

Go to Image> Adjustments> Levels(Image> Adjustments> Levels / Shortcut keys "Ctrl + L"). Change white input(white) on 110 .

Step 11.

Go to Filter> Distort> Displace(Filter> Distort> Offset). We indicate 1 for Horizontal scale(Horizontal scale), 3 for Vertical scale(Vertical scale) and then in other options select Strech to fit(Stretch) and Wrap around(Insert Clipped Fragments). We press OK... In a new window that appears Displace map(Map displacement) select the created in 4 step file Displace.psd.

Step 12.

Now filter Filter> Distort> Displace(Filter> Distort> Offset) should distort the image so that the lines are not equal and horizontal.

Conclusion.

Now you can add your logo or add other effects. Filter Filter> Distort> Displace(Filter> Distort> Offset) is one of the cool filters in Photoshop because we can create tons of different effects with it, like in this tutorial. I mentioned earlier that before the idea for this tutorial came to me, I watched the movie " Wall Street: Money Doesn't Sleep", where animation with money is shown in the credits.

Creating a lot of income or abundance in our lives is quite simple, but most of us find it very difficult, and in the end it turns out that way.

The hardest part of our relationship with money is letting ourselves know where it might come from. We must focus on what is possible. For example, most people believe that their income is limited to a certain amount, and this is all the money that can come into their lives. Others say that their monthly salary is a certain amount of US dollars, and they do not want to get a second job.

In the first case, a person has certain boundaries of his income, and does not admit the possibility of receiving more money. In the second case, a person determines his personal channel for receiving money. So, to create more money out of thin air, we must be willing to free our limited thinking, remove the boundaries around our abundance, and stop describing how money gets into our lives.

Notice the pun: money and abundance. The first step in making money is recognizing that there is a lot of money. Rest assured, you can create abundance in your life. Abundance sometimes appears to be money that you can spend. Sometimes, abundance can be thought of as inviting you to dinner or getting unexpected discounts on the purchases you make. In general, you must define for yourself the meaning of these words.

The following guidelines will help you expand your thinking and break any boundaries on the path to money and abundance.

Rule one:

Money is energy. It obeys the laws of nature, and, like the tides of the ocean, has a natural rhythm of currents, forward and backward. When we allow money to flow to us without limiting it or defining the path of receipt, then we become masters of abundance. We restrict the flow of abundance when we do not allow someone to pay for lunch: "No, no, you should not pay for lunch." We limit the flow of abundance when we don't pick up the penny we see on the street. You ask the Universe for abundance, and now, albeit small, but the flow, right under your feet, you just need to bend down and accept it. We limit the flow of abundance by limiting our thinking. When you say that you are making a certain amount of dollars, you are setting boundaries and limiting the flow of abundance into your life.

Rule two:

Money is faceless. Money is neither good nor evil. They have no price other than what we ourselves give them. Money isn't interested in who you are, what's behind you, or what your family's past is. This follows from the first rule, because money is just energy, and nothing more. They can be used for any purpose. Money can be used to benefit people, but it can also be used to their detriment. How we use money, or how we think about money, does not change the nature of money, which is energy.

Rule three:

The money is not limited. When we understand the rules of the first and second, money or abundance can freely flow to us as much as we allow them. For example, last year there were a number of natural disasters where thousands of people lost their homes and needed a return to normal life. People rallied to help the victims and said that for this they need a certain amount of dollars. Within hours, millions of dollars poured in from all sources. Know that you can do the same. Create necessity, open up energy and allow the universe to provide you with all the good things in your life.

Stream opening.

You can create more abundance in your life because your essence is energy and money is energy. The first step is to develop a relationship with money. Every night, before you go to bed, write in your journal at least ten things you are grateful for. Identify, write down, and thank for whatever cash you have at your disposal. Say thank you to the person who paid for the lunch. Say thank you to Spirit, God or the Universe for the money you found on the street. Say thank you to the person who smiled at you on the bus. These simple steps will only take ten to fifteen minutes. Allow yourself to just try and see what opens up and flows into your life. If you forget to keep a journal for several days or weeks, notice how the flow may slow down or stop. Grab a pen and start writing your journal and developing the habit again.

Your magazine.

Once you develop this wonderful new habit, you can start creating new sources of income. Trust me, it works. You can create what you want in the future, but write it down in the present tense. Remember, don't create boundaries or define how abundance will flow into your life.

Below are examples of phrases you can write in your journal:

I thank you for all the limitless streams of income in my life.

I thank you for my new job, with a good salary, located near my home.

I thank for all the money I have.

I thank you for the flow of financial abundance into my life.

I am grateful for all the abundance and all the good things in my life.

I thank you for my paid vacation in the south.

I thank you for the opportunity to let all the good things into my life.

I am grateful for my health.

I am grateful for my beautiful body, which functions excellent and healthy.

I am healthy and grateful for excellent health.

I am grateful for every relationship in my life.

It is very easy to create great income or abundance in our lives. Let go of boundaries and limiting thoughts and allow all the good things to come into your life. Soon, you will be teaching others how to create money out of thin air.
