Changed economic conditions recent years became a harsh "test of strength" for construction companies... Dobrushskaya PMK-95 of JSC Gomeloblstroy did not escape a similar fate. The trust was declared bankrupt last year. The problem of the enterprise's survival fell on the shoulders of its management. And then they added the Vetka PMK ... About how they survived, retained the labor collective, at which facilities Dobrush builders work today, the correspondent of "DK" talked with the head of PMK-5 of JSC "Gomel United Construction Trust" Vladimir Andreev.
- Vladimir Nikolaevich, many skeptics predicted the inevitable collapse of your enterprise. How did you manage to survive the crisis?
- Largely thanks to the help of the leadership of the district executive committee and specifically the deputy chairman of the district executive committee Sergei Petrovsky. It was Sergey Viktorovich who contributed to the fact that our PMK became part of the Gomel United Construction Trust. Of all the PMKs that were part of the Gomeloblstroy trust, only we and the Checher builders remained afloat. So in the region it was possible to preserve the only construction organization. True, the number of employees has decreased and now amounts to 120 people.
- How do you assess the current financial and economic condition of the organization?
- The condition is stable. We found construction projects in the Gomel region. There is always work. We continue to carry out finishing work in the spitex building on Frunze Street in Dobrush. In Gomel we are engaged in the reconstruction of production and office space plant "Crystal". We are building a 45-apartment residential building in Vetka. In the same place, we continue finishing work at the local gymnasium. In the Bragin district, a team of builders begins the construction of an MTF. Recently, Gomel United Construction Trust OJSC won a tender for the construction of a 60-apartment residential building in Dobrush on Polevoy Street. A tower crane has already been delivered to the site of the future construction ...
- What, in your opinion, does the enterprise lack to increase the pace of work?
- Everyone always has problems. I would not like to talk about them on the eve of the holiday. I can only say that we are not sitting still, we are looking for new objects. We are ready to employ 15 workers. First of all, finishers, painters, plasterers and bricklayers are needed. I understand that we cannot always offer good specialists the wages they receive in Russia.
For six months of this year, the volume of construction and installation work amounted to 927 thousand Belarusian rubles... Profit from product sales - 23 percent. The profitability is 2.3 percent. Average wage- 407 rubles. A little? Maybe. But wages are called wages because they have to be earned. So far we have worked for this amount ...
- Which of the PMK-5 employees on the eve of the holiday would you especially like to celebrate?
- Customers, as a rule, always note the high quality of our builders' work. The company employs workers - an example for others. These are foreman Alexander Deineka, foreman of plasterers Tatyana Klyuchinskaya, bricklayer Alexander Zelenkov, driver Vladimir Chernopyatko, excavator operator Alexander Efremov, truck crane driver Dmitry Smirnov. Largely thanks to them, the team successfully overcomes the difficulties that arise and looks to the future with optimism.
