Disadvantages: Narrow corridors in many apartments, limited possibility of redevelopment of apartments due to the presence of a large number of load-bearing walls in apartments.

Panel house series HMS-2001 is not included in the list of demolished, the probability of demolition, even in the long term, is small.

Typical residential buildings of the HMS-1 series are built from a standard set of building elements, which are called "MS-1", which allow you to design each residential building, taking into account the available area, relief, erect houses with numerous entrances, or vice versa, tower-type buildings with one the only entrance. The thickness of the internal walls and ceilings of the HMS-1 house (180 mm and 160 mm) provide the required level of sound insulation, and the construction of the external walls in combination with modern variable window blocks, the thickness of which is 128 mm, provides an excellent level of thermal insulation. It is also worth mentioning the high manufacturability of the HMS-1 series: design solutions ensure reliable stability of the house both from a possible earthquake and from a chain collapse (when one section begins to collapse in a building, and all the others collapse behind it).


In the houses of the HMS-1 series, the layout of the apartments provides for glazed balconies. Separate bathrooms, with the exception of one-room apartments in municipal sections.
